PostDog was founded in 2024 by a team of marketers and engineers who were frustrated with the fragmented state of customer communication tools. Every business they worked with was juggling separate platforms for WhatsApp, email campaigns, and social media management. Data lived in silos, workflows were duplicated, and opportunities were slipping through the cracks.
At the same time, WhatsApp was rapidly emerging as the most important marketing channel for businesses worldwide. With over two billion users, WhatsApp had become the primary way customers wanted to interact with brands. But the tools available to businesses were either too basic or too expensive, and none of them connected well with email or social media workflows.
We built PostDog to solve this problem from the ground up. Instead of bolting on WhatsApp support as an afterthought, we designed our platform with WhatsApp at the core and built outward to include email marketing, social media scheduling, and a unified inbox. The result is a single dashboard where marketing teams can manage every customer conversation, campaign, and content calendar without switching between tools.
